Got my VTAC today!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, finally got my VTAC today! Nice, handles nice as well. I can throw this thing right? I really want to learn how to throw it! Anyway, I am just really happy that I got it. I also got myself a Ka-Bar, 50th anniversary knife honoring the Korean War. When I got it, it was sharp, but not shaving sharp. Took only a few swipes with a fine hone to get it sharp. Now I cant wait to get home to actually put these things to use!

I have been dying to throw mine, as well. Unfortunately, the opportunity has not occurred, as of yet.
 
My kabar was the same way. A couple of seconds on my steel, and it is scary sharp; no hair on my left forearm anymore.
I was happy with how sharp my VTAC hawk came, though. I have read that the edge is a utility all puropse, as opposed to a hair cutter, but mine comes pretty close.
 
Mine came pretty sharp, but definately not a hair cutter. I was a little amazed how small the head seemed. I thought that it would be a little bigger. oh well. I have heard that the spike can penetrate a kevlar helmet, I have an Iraq one with me that I have thought about trying it on...but I dont think that I will...ahhahahahahah.
 
Congrats!

I ordered one, but it looks like it might be 3-4 months before 1sks gets any more. :eek:
