Hey guys I got my Waki in today and it is amazing, I love it. One thing though, one of the rivits in the handle has a crack in it, is this be something I should be worried about?

I wouldn't worry about it, theres another 4 holding the handle on. But if it bothers you, I'm sure Eric will take care of it.

Glad it arrived safely. The rivet is not something to be worried about, they sometimes split when installing them. Even split they seem to be plenty strong. This is something I always check when shipping so I usually catch these as does the shop. Sorry we missed this. If it is something that bothers you drop me a note and we'll take care of it.

No worries, if its not going to affect the reliability and performance i'm not going to worry about. There's no way in hell this blade is leaving me again:D:thumbup:

Awesome score:thumbup::cool:

Got my Sage/Black micarta Waki today.

Thoughts: handle is just long enough for a two-hand grip. Light enough to use one-handed. Long enough to be useful. Black is more charcoal (fine with me).

BuyBrown kydex sheath is a bit loose for my taste.

Attractive, apparently well-made (as expected), good size. Here next to my 19" OAL HI Crow.

The G10 handles were slightly fatter than the micarta handles so that might be the issue. Maybe David Brown used a G10 model to make the sheath. I believe the easiest way to fix it is to heat it up with a hairdryer and then squeeze it together. I'm sure David will see this thread and drop you a line. He is stand up guy:thumbup:

If your talking about the micarta..... The oil from your hands will darken it greatly,over time.... OR you could apply some oil to it and it will become very Black.Afterward,if you want to revert back to the gray/charcoal color,simply wash it with soap.......

I received my Black and Arctic White Waki with black Micarta on Tuesday. Awesome as i expected. Hair popping sharp!

Thankyou Eric for all your help.
