Got my waved 7B

The brown truck just came and dropped off my 7B. This is my first emerson and I am very happy with it. A very robust knife and very big for its size if that makes any sense. I am getting the hang of the wave and it's very addictive.

Things that impress me:
1) The wave. What a simple yet brilliant idea. With one gross muscle movement you pull an open knife out of your pocket.
2) The use of standard fastners. Finally a manufacturer who accepts that ELUs might want to adjust/maintain their knives!
3) This is THE tactical folder, not the first, but a liner locking, G-10 handled, chisel-ground, tanto bladed 3-4 inch knife is what I picture when I hear "tactical folder."

The goat will probably visit me as I sleep tonight to make my suspect hood official :-)

The goat never vists at night - it wants you to see it comming!!

Congratulations on the new Waved Emerson - may it be the first of many.

Regards,

Ed

Its a nice knife, isn't it? Make sure to practice waving with an old pair of jeans... :D

BTW, what is the number? Mine is a 2001 #263

Run! Run while you can!

Congrats Will......My first was a 7 too and I fell in love with it.....then there was a Mach 1, then a Raven, then........................................................................................................................................

If I weren't saving every penny I have towards a Emerson custom, I'd get a waved 7.

Believe me, it ain't easy. Distractions (i.e. "other" toys) abound.
I...must...however....be...strong.....aaarrrrrggggghhhhhhh!!!!

I too am awaiting a 7B. Meanwhile, I continue to play with the Wave on my Commander, snick snack, snick snack...

And yes be aware of the Goat... It arrives when least expected, believe you me, you'll know when it arrives:p .

Glad you are enjoying your new toy.

"use the force SQUID, you must be strong in this time of weakness friend, for you will know and find true happiness when you recieve that custom"......ya luky bastid.

:D

Congrats on the new tool callahwj.

Hmmmm you're suppose to make the hood out of the goat :)

Listen to ccoates and be sure to be wearing a lot of old pants that you aren't gonna mind not having for much longer.

And after that say goodbye to your good pants because you'll probably sell those to get more Emersons. :)

Kickass! Mines coming tomorrow :D

The goat came... I'm kind of a city boy, do all goats have zippers on their bellys and speak english? Or do I owe one of you dinner and flowers :) ?

Hi guys I also have a waved CQC-7B. It is serial number CN 488. Ok so it wasn't factory. I bought it from a fellow forumite and even though it isn't factory you would be hard pressed to tell and it "Waves" great. Also do you think the CN adds anything to price??

Got my 7 (#119) today along with a Min Com #194 and a Cuda Arclite. This is one badass Emerson. I'm seriously contemplating buying a lefty waved 7 to go with it.
