Model T10CF, very strong and amazingly light. Thanks to all of you for your advice. It came off ebay from Bob at TheKnifeConnection.

Mike,

Looks Fantastic! Thanks for uploading pics. Brings us closure to your "knife-choosing-dilemma" :D:D:D.

Mike,

Glad you found something you liked. It should match an... hrm... Panerai? Not really. Hrm... That's a tough one. Not sure, actually.

Do you like it?

Now you're on your way to being a true knifeknut, you gotta get a "real man's" sharpener for it too. ;)

I'm actually looking for a WHK too... maybe one of the redwood scales & bolsters.

WOW!!!
That is a sweet knife. I love the facets on the thumb stud. Congratulations. Nice choice.

Mike, I hope you enjoy your knife. Bolsterless CF makes for a great lightweight but strong folder. If you want somthing similar but slightly different, check out Brian Geyer's CF flipper at www.knifeart.com. It's only $150, dirt cheap for a custom folder.

The little lancet is a great knife. I'm actually on my second one as I lost the first one (Yikes!)but liked it enough to buy another one. I usually reserve it for the few times a year when I wear an actual suit and my small Sebbie seems a little too much (but it goes great with sportcoat and slacks, Microtech Socom Elite for the jeans days). Matt Conable and the whole gang at WH make a great product.

Better watch your checkbook though, it looks like you're hooked.

PS It's much easier if you just buy the wife something too (assuming you have one). They're much more understanding if they're holding a new purse or shoes ot the like while looking at your new knife.

PPS: If I have one complaint about the T10-CF it would be that I'd like the thumb stud to be a little less aggressive on the back of my hand when i reach for my money clip (ALMar Cashclip, ya, I know I'm sick).

Concept Air Command, chronograph with stainless steel/carbon fiber bracelet and head. List price US$9000.

I too love the facets on the thumb stud, who'll be the first to install a diamond or other gem set in the stud? Or has it already been done?

Thats a nice looking watch...... BUT, think of all the knives you can buy with $9000! :D

That's the problem with having this knife addiction. Everytime I have to buy something for the house or look at something else that interests me, I think about how many and which knives I could buy with that money! I just bought a sofa sleeper this weekend.... I coulda bought several nice customs with that $!!!

If you read my post again, you'll see that I actually don't like the thumbstud. It's fine for opening the knife with my thumb, but it's a bit rough on the more tender skin on the back of my hand every time I reach past it for my money or something else in my pocket. What I'd really like is to get it replaced with something smoother with perhaps a semi precious stone inset (sapphire). If it were an option on the executive series (with the wicked Black Diamond BC coated blade and gold trim) I might even buy one of those, making for the first blade duplication in my modest collection.

Knowing Mike, the State of Connecticut pays him taxes...LOL

I've known of mike for a while and met him a few times and like me, he would probably live in a cardboard box and dress in newspaper before he gave up his watches, knives and guns...LOL

Looks like you made a great choice. I happen to really like WH knives. The Icon is one of my favorites. They are coming out with some new ones this year that I can hardly wait to see.
