Super stoked with my $500 package... Recieved a super slick little blade says sykco proto on it...and looks like a custom shop hell razor 2 with this wicked cool red and black patina on the blade and handles..looks like it's already killed some zombies hahaha very cool 😎

That's a Nano Fusion Forsaken Steel Heart with the Nuclear Option, and with Cerakote finish.
Guess I got some learning to do here...I don't know what nano fusion is, I'm familiar with nuclear, and cerakote but dang seems expensive to me🤷🏼‍♂️

Fusion is a type of handle style. Nano fusion is just that, a smaller version.

Yeah there is definitely a learning curve with Bussekin... I started 2.5 years ago and think I have a pretty good handle on acronyms and nomenclature about a year into my piglet status.

The "Nuclear" option is like an extra option that is different on each model... Some may be a fuller, handle lightening, rounded edges, different handle material, etc.

Some terminologies like "Fusion", "Nano Fusion", "Special Forces", etc. describe the handle shapes... Whole some others like "Badger", for example, denotes which family of knife designs it descended from.

Honestly, the acronyms and nomenclature seems overwhelming and complicated at first, but once you get a handle on it, they make sense and are pretty fun.

Good luck, piglet!

Great pal. Its a great community around here too, like he said.. eventually it clicks and youll realize aside from Custom shop offerings they all make sence and belong to a "family" of styles of sorts

I had ordered a hell razor 2 in comp finish, and thought this steel heart looked alot like the hell razor 2... I'm trying to figure out some of this stuff, but I'm new to all this and since alot of the knives arent made anymore it's tough to sort it all out sometimes...I'll get it one of these days, everyone here has been super awesome and helpful answering my questions and that's greatly appreciated 🙏
