Got my Zero Tolerance 0200

So, I've never owned a ZT before, and I watched a video on the internet showing off the 560/561 at Shot Show a couple weeks ago and I instantly wanted one. I was going to pre-order one (very late mind you) until I found out that it's going to be a very long waiting list for one. :(

So I decided to cure the itch with a somewhat similar philosophy of knife (non assist & flipper) and went with a 0200 for the time being. (I also snagged up a Manix 2 XL with a combined price it was the same as the 0560 by the way) .... after owning this 0200 I'll most definitely get the 560/561 when it becomes more available.

If a regular knife is just a car, then a cold steel would be a truck, but a zero tolerance would be a tank! :cool: :thumbup: :thumbup:

This is a MAN's knife... I don't think i'm manly enough to EDC this blade. :p

Ugh. I had to click on this thread... I have a 550 and a 350 already. I've been lusting after this one recently. My addiction just won't be denied! Must have one!!
 
The ZT 0200st was my first ZT and after using it as my EDC for a month or so, I decided that it might like weekends off so I got a ZT 301st to carry on the weekends:)

I had a 0200. I had to trade it off. I don't mind a heavy knife but that in conjuncture with the size and rough scales, I couldn't edc it and that is 95% of what I do with my knives
 
Yeah, you can shake the knife out of the detent, but you have to open it in an unusual methodical way. I couldn't see the blade disengaging while its in a bag or something. It's still only going to open up is when you want it to.
 
I'd only be concerned with a weak detent if it was an assisted knife. The detent on my 0200 is not that weak but it's still nice an easy to open.

The detents on my OD-1 and Buck Vantage are very tight and makes them a PITA to flip.
 
It's the only ZT I have currently, until my 560 comes in, I really like it, very beefy, although I have no problem carrying it all day in my jeans pocket at work, had to get the satin finish one, I don't really like coating unless it serves a purpose ie protection for a carbon steel.
