Got my Zilla II today...

I was grinning from ear to ear while waiting in the post office line to get my Zilla II.
Frequent bouts of uncontrolled giggling made people give me space.
Is this normal for people about to get their Busse blades?

I can't wait to get a demo job at work. A few of the 'huggy' people will freak when a Zilla appears and starts to hack away on a boat.
Zilla II will be put to work, for sure. It balances pretty well in my hands and I can feel that it wants to chop like a mofo.

Still giggling...

:):):)

I will say Congrats, and yes, giggling like a kid at Christmas is normal...

BUT

You have been here long enough to know the rules...

say it with me now , Class....

I'll figure out the photo thing one of these days.
Just got in the computer world a few years back and I still consider it a minor miracle that I can even log on a computer.
Baby steps for this feller...

Congrats.

I actually opened mine right there on the island in the post office. Had to make sure it made it safe and sound!

Beastly sucker, huh!

Plenty of handle, and you can choke way back on the handle too. you can hold the flared end in your fist, without discomfort.

So I don't get pimp slapped for no pics.

Haven't got mine yet, but it looks like my CC just got charged for it... :D

Evidence of a photographic nature or it can not be said to have occurred!!!!!

Very good, Class. :D

Using a hosting site like Photobucket is pretty easy. This old tutorial lays out teh steps, but the screen capture images have changed.

He was talking like a teacher asking the class what termite forgot to do... which was post pictures!

And if you're gonna post in a KZII thread, you gotta tell me when mine is coming. ;)

And if it is tomorrow, bump me up to overnight shipping so I can play with it over the holiday weekend! :D

just got mine too with black handles, i need to get a photobucket acct up, congrats to everyone who scored!!!

Normal people don't have enormous chopping blades like this but who says being normal is something to strive for.

Amy,

Skrapmetal 'splained it to you. Sorry to have confused you, maybe you hadn't been drinking enough to understand? ;):D

Wait a minute ... are you saying this isn't normal?

Of course that's normal. It looks like my picnic table. I've met resinguy at Blade 2009. He is just as normal as all those drunk guys flicking switchblades down in the pit or that big guy Dave out at the fountain whipping a KZ around like it was made of balsa wood.

One of my buddies came over and looked at my Busse collection so far and didn't understand the justification of so many nice knives, but then later, we were talking about the multitude of survival/apocolypse shows that have been flooding reality shows, and we both came to the conclusion that there are far worse investments out there. Knives are one of the most intrinsically and extrinsically valuable tools imo, i could sell them to close to or more than i paid, like firearms, i cannot say that about my chick's shoe and purse collection LOL. Good philosophy mhog
