Photos Got neighbour Kershaw 8310 fringe

Got my neighbour a Kershaw 8310 fringe carbon folder and as a keen gardener he uses it everyday outside and it works just fine, also got another mate a fixed blade on ali which he loves.
The quality of both are okay.
I have never carried a penknife or outside knife in my life for a job etc.

Yep deffo jux t - The thing is most Benchmade and Kershaws are made in China like a lot of knives these days.
The standards, tolerances, precision, materials fit and finish is definitely going up there in general.
I look if the factory is ISO9001 because then the standards are the same Worldwide.

Not sure about Kershaw numbers nowadays, but Benchmade makes most knives in America, last I checked.

You may be mistaken here. I’d like to point out that counterfeits are very frowned upon on this forum.

I understand jux t - I thought the Kershaw was from a legit Kershaw outlet and didn`t know about the other one.
I don`t know anything about penknives or outside knives to be honest; I`m more into kitchen knives.

Benchmades are not made in China.

Since when are most benchmades made in China ? They produced a few models overseas years ago.. none recently as far as I know.

Pretty sure about 97% of all benchmades are made in Oregon - the China made versions are very few.

That is far from true. The company I worked for outsourced items. We audited each subcontractor. Their paperwork said they were legit. We found gross issues in many of them.
