Got new CRKT Crawford/Kasper in the mail

on Sat. Good deal from knifeworks.com. The full-sized black version. First impression is of massive solidity. You're not likely to forget you've got this one in your pocket. Workmanship is outstanding. Blade snaps open easily, quickly and with an authoritative "click." The LAWKS locking system is really easy to use but is actually redundant. Very sharp "combo" edge. This is a hard-to-beat value in a full-size folder.
 
is there any blade play on yours? I have one I bought 6 months ago and I agree with every thing you say, but I noticed blade play horizontally and vertically. I absolutely love the design and ergonomics of the knife.

i have had a few CRKT kaspers and 2 of them developed bad liner locks, keep an eye on it FWIW, CRKT replaced both of them but they were ok when new and after use started slipping.

good knives though, i liked 'em so much i got a crawford version.
 
I really love the look and feel of this knife.
Outstanding design, and I think CRK&T made a quality knife for the price.
 
I bought one of those, one of my first "tactical" knives in fact. Excellent ergonomics, whole lotta blade, built like a tank, what's not to like? Oh yeah, the blade steel... I wish CRK&T didn't cheap-out on the blade like they do. :rolleyes:
