The little "Brown Truck" has done it's duty and I am now the new proud owner of a Mini-Commander.
I had an old BM Emerson from way back, and loved that knife. It is now in retirement in a safe. I had gotten a Raven last year when they were being closed out.
I have been toying with getting a new Emerson for some time, and I have my eye of a few models, however I got a good deal on the Mini, and hearing all the good things folks had to say about it, I had to get one.
I was not disappointed. Fit and finish are great, feels even better in the hand. Man, is that blade stout! Looks like you could drive it through cement. I am trying to get used to the wave... Frankly it is a little scarry at first
I can tell it will take a little practice, but I can see how it works. Shaved hair on my arm, all the things a new knife should do.
I have spine whacked the blade 8 times, and I have all my fingers.
Did I mention how thick and strong this blade is?
All I can say is, Mr. Emerson, thanks and you can start work on that CQC-11 I am saving up for
