My dad was going through some of my mom's stuff. We lost mom in 06 to lung cancer. She was a champion antique collector and I had picked up a small Camillus half congress
for her to use in her travels. Cutting stitches, opening boxes/ bags whatever. I don't know if she actually used it that much, but it was in her purse. It has a few stains, the blades are dulled, and there is some stuff on the tiny blade, so she must have found it useful at least once, lol.
Dad gave it back to me today.

Well, I don't have a camera here now, but will tomorrow. For now here is a phone pic.

If the blades were dull, it does indeed sound like she used it. That's good, Ed. I'm betting she thought of you every time she took it out.:thumbup:

I hope so.
It was a half congress. Not sure what I was thinking.

That's a great story. It's always nice to have something tangible to remember someone with. I'm sure she smiled when she used it because it made her think of you.

A lousy way to get it back ..... but a nice knife that will bring back a lot of nice memories for you.
