Well I packed myright Jr. into the kid carrier backpack (he's now 25lbs  ) along with the rest of my gear and hit the trail. Supprisingly there was noone at the trail heads at all. I did see one couple out and about and have no idea where they came from but they were nice which is hard to come by near me.

Well Jr was AWESOME hanging out in the backpack. He was moving around a lot so I was swerving a bit on the trail :) I found a good hiking staff to use which helped out a bit.

Here are some pics - enjoy!

Not much knife play since I had an 11 month old strapped to my back but here are the tools that made it out with me today.

Not a bad way to carry this RC3 at all

Great pics man, loved the photos of the water plants!

Looks like a great way to carry that RC3.

Great pics. I agree on the carry, that is how I carry my K Girl sheath with my skinner blade, you don't even feel that you are carrying a blade....

Looks like a beautiful place. And the extra weight is an added workout! My poor parents must have been ripped after lugging me around...I was 11 pounds at birth!!

Nice pics. I was carrying my Breeden with horz/vert. sheath that way all night during my overnighter trip with the students. Very easy to access like that!

Great pics buddy, as soon as I see Cat-tails I think tinder but in actual fact I have had very little success in lighting the stuff !!!!!

myright, I like that Long Tail "C" Case! Thanks for the pics!

I absolutely love that knife. I picked up at Smokey Mountain Knife Works last year when the wife and I put some miles in on the Smokies.

Thanks, bro

I wanted to grab some and play around with them, but they were just out of my reach with a 25 boy on my back..... :D I've always wanted to try lighting them things on fire since they look easy to light, but you are not the first person to say you've had issues lighting them.
