Got out this afternoon

I have been impressed with Pitdog, Kgd and others posting pics of the gorgeous places that they get to hike and enjoy. So I went out for a bit this afternoon and took the camera and got a few pics of where I go. Now let me tell you beforehand, I have nothing that can compare with the places I see on here but it works for me. I took the 20 bore cap buster out thinking I might get a squirrel or two. It was cold and windy but all in all I had a real good time.

Man, you got a beautiful shotgun. I have a very similar one. Nice lookin day. I'd like to see a Ladyfinger in that pic.

NC, at least in those pictures, looks a lot like my woods here in SW Tennessee. I'm sitting here waiting for another deer, so can't get out today other than my brief trip to the post office. I'll get out one day this week though. Maybe a New Year's Day hike!

Thanks for the pics!

Thanks Fiddleback, I might me showing my ignorance, my wife says I am real good at it, but what is a ladyfinger.

Codger, pretty good day, too windy though. I did get lucky and heard a squirrel barking during a lull and was able to slip up on them, think I'll have dumplings tomorrow. ;) Chris

That looks like some great stomping grounds to me! Is that customized mora #1?

beautiful shotgun!

I love woods like that to play in. Tons of material for "forts" and a fire. Wish we had walkable woods like that instead of dense moss and brutal terrain forest

Check out Fiddlebacks forum in the makers section....lots of pics over there.

Nice shotty...good to get out .

Looks a lot like out back my place. Love to get out there and do stuff.
