Well had to get an RD4 to round out my RD Knives.
To me it looks to short to be of a full general use knife. The clip point makes it look less of a full blade, but that's due to the shorter blade of 4", unlike the 6", 7" and 9" where the clip blade where the same size of the clip front part of the bade doesn't look so bad or pronounced on a shorter 4" blade.
Vs. An Afghan I guess it has some less belly vs a spear point, but since Afghans went poof on the market, the I saw an RD4 still being sold and snatched it. It got a gaudy orange G10 handle but it seems tis going to work. If your looking for an RD4 here's the linky.

For use, I see its going to be good for the smaller tasks and cutting like processing animals large and small. It looks like it will be good for when needing a smaller blade that is as tough as heck. Its good sized for small bushycrafty stuff, and yet strong and tough to do jobs when needed. And the handle is nice sized and with most RD knives a great thumping and whumping hilt! Oh Choil is great also for finer work.
That's about it. I see some trade offs getting this knife, but a small tough blade will go great with an SP-53 or SP-51, I also have an RD6 ride with my larger OKC knives.
