Got rid of my Rat Pack RC-3

I was looking at my pack knife a couple weeks ago and started thinking about how as soon as I got a good opportunity, I was going to wang on it just like I would any other knife. The team concept is fun around here, but it sure wasn't a collector piece for me, I was going to use it. Then I started thinking about the poor little boys and girls that missed out on the pack knives and thought maybe someone would get more enjoyment out of the "limited edition" than I would. So I got ahold of TAGannon and he graciously agreed to a trade for a new ESEE-3MIL.

I love this knife. In the back of my mind it was always the 3 that I "really" wanted so I'm tickled pink. Let the wanging, bashing, batoning and general use begin.

Tom and I agreed on the trade on Wednesday, the knife shipped first thing Thursday and it was in my mailbox today. Tom is a standup guy and was great to deal with. Hope he is please as well.

If you've never checked out his site www.tagannon.com, he's got some good prices on knives and sweet paracord bracelets. Small shop you can tell, but the service is excellent. :D Thanks Tom!
 
Hang on a sec....(looks at 3MIL on belt).....nope. :D

I was never huge on the orange. Good looking knife for sure, but I prefer the subdued colors. Now....must....not....buy....Swinkels....sheath....

great you got what you wanted, the 3 is a favorite of mine also, it's hard to leave home without it.....
 
Adam, would you mind posting a pic of that 3 in hand? I really like the looks of that knife.
 
Adaman, I can't believe you let go of that awesome RAT Pack knife! Nice ESEE-3mil though! My ESEE-3mil's number is 1299. We are pretty close. :D

Adam, you are too kind. I'm so glad you contacted me and we could trade. I know I will be thrilled with my new RAT Pack knife. Thank you for the kind words and plug for my shop. I really appreciate it.

It is a lucky person to get to trade with Adam. He is honest, quick with email replies and keeps you posted as to how things are moving along. I've never felt more comfortable in a trade situation than I did with Adam. First Rate!! Thanks Adam!

I'll be sure to post pictures of my new baby when the stork delivers it.
 
good trade. I love the 3MIL. Give me green canvas micarta over orange G10 any day. Plus I like the 3mil's logo better.
 
You guys really aren't helping with all these Martin sheaths. Especially you BenchmadeBoy. That Tech Bushcraft sheath is the shiz.

Thanks for the heads up Tony.

I PMed TTD and asked for the protocol on trading a RP knife and he said TAGannon might want another. It was raining RP knives for Tom. :D

The brown Shotgunner sheath I have looked kind of funny with the orange G10 scales, but it fits the 3MIL nicely...at least until I can get some "free" time to bend some more kydex!
