Well, with all the masters hangin' out in here, I finally got some courage up to post one of my recent ones. Any critiques would be welcome!

:)Eric, looks good. Nice stitching and dye job. For me I would rather see you extend the top so only about 2-3 fingers of the handle is exposed. Your retention and protection of the knife is much better.I would also recommend giving yourself a little more room from the edge for your stitching say about 3/16"-1/4".That will give you a bit more leeway in straightening your edge and rounding your corners. But overall its pretty nice.Dave:thumbup:

Retention is actually better than I thought. I wetformed and it was a little sloppy but after it finally dried all the way, it snaps right in.

Thanks for the tips. I thought about bringing the top up a little higher, I'll remember that on the next one. I got a little carried away with the belt grinder and had to narrow it all down a little more than I usually like.

Thanks for the advice and kind words. Means a lot from artisans such as yourselves. :D
