I want to get a knife, but I don't really know what I want. Been thinking anywhere from a Case Swayback Jack, to a Kershaw Damascus Wild Turkey, to a Spyderco Gayle Bradely or Para2 and even a Buck Vantage Pro, and really am just all over the board. Don't think I'll really be doing much with it, maybe throw it into the EDC rotation so a folder 3.5" or less is in order.

How about a Benchmade 940! Nice size knife but very light! Good Luck! Kevin

My vote goes to the Gayle Bradley or Para 2 -- both would be superb additions to any EDC rotation.

I just bought a Kershaw Double Cross, pretty nice and a lot of fun to play with. Also very sharp out of the box.

I've been eye-balling those Swaybacks also... I particularly like the single-blade 'Gent' configuration.:cool::thumbup:

I've considered one before ( and the 943 ) but I already have a 930.

Winter Tyrant,

I'm mostly wanting to stay around $100, $150 being my absolute top ( including shipping and everything).

All right how about a Spyderco Manix 2, ZT 350, or a David Boye Cobalt folder. The Boye will cut ALL DAY! Kevin :D

The ole' "money burning a hole in my pocket" knife buy.:D:thumbup: You may want to go with something that you normally wouldn't buy. I would go with the Gayle Bradley also.:)

You sound bored. Go with the Paramilitary 2. It is the most fun to play around with since it sounds like you don't have any intention of using it.

Another thought. You might want to go with an automatic, if you are not going to carry it. The Kershaw Breakout and Rogue are excellent knives, and a great buy, and if I read correctly are going to be discontinued.

For a spyderco: pkal
If not get a Case sway back. They are very nice. The blade and handle shape just flow. Maybe a stag handle damascus blade!

Post pics of what you get

The Sway Back Jack is easily one of the nicest Case has put out lately. (please ignore the fingerprints, can seem to keep my mitts off it.)

I always want a new knife any more, but lately for some reason I have the urge to buy an assisted folder.
