Got some new pants

So, I talked to Nix and got him to send me some pants for my modd'ed 2.

This thing matches the 2, it's built like a tank. One of my favorite features, after talking with Nix, he added a hook panel into the dangler, so it will maintain orientation on my SOE belt.

Then to make things even better! I also got an Azwelke sheath that I won in a giveaway.

That is a beautiful sheath. Nick does some awesome work. I will be hitting him up at some point.

I'm really impressed with the work these sheath makers turn out. I also recently received a sheath from Nick.

I really prefer leather although there are some applications where kydex wins out. IMHO, we're fortunate to have these sheath maker folks in the group and here's wishing them continued success!

So what's the story behind your nodded BK2? Just curious is all. Ilike stuff that's different than the rest. Mostly the why part.

The why is actually the easiest part! I spent 40 hours in the car with an average Iowa guy and it became a challenge between us to see how it would turn out.
 
I love that style sheath. I need to get in touch with him for a sheath for my old Cammy BK2.

Twould be nice. I'd like to find a Cam BK2, add some wood scales, and a leather sheath. Perhaps one of these days...

I been toying with the idea of getting some hardwood from Tommy for the BK-2T. I think the wood scales, with the leather sheath and the clip point and the shiny pretty would be all kinds of smexy.

I still need to get a Trailbum sheath. I have SEEN one of the elusive ones, however I have never held nor procured one.

Trade- DEFINITELY talk to Nick about getting into some of his leather pants! They are... yeah, as you can tell!
 
With you referring to them as pants, I can't help but picture a BK2 with arms and legs wearing a cowboy had and fancy leather shaps.

I worry about myself sometimes.
 
I'm glad that everyone like everything. It's tough making sure everyone is happy sometimes. But sometimes it's easy. I'm glad you guys are easy. :-)

The velcro hook panel in the dangler attachment is AMAZING! It's exactly what it needs! I love that I can take the knife on and off my belt without having to undo my belt, but then the knife doesn't re-orientate itself while on my belt either. It stays exactly where I put it. Even when I take off the knife the snaps stay in place!
