I got a juice S4, and was quite unhappy with some of the flashing lines on the screwdriver head. i took my dremel and stated to grind down the lines on it to smooth it out.

All was fine and dandy, till i closed it. I think i got some dust in there because the scissor wont open without A LOT of effort and makes grinding noises, as well as 2 of the flatheads. i tried flushing it out with WD-40 but no luck.

I know the warranty doesnt cover damage from modifications, but if its got some stuff in there, would they clean it out?

otherwise i cant open the scissor and the drivers without another tool to pop it out (which makes it kind pointless)

What the hell? "Flashing lines" on the screwdriver head?

Did you open up the screwdriver to do the grinding or did you keep the tool closed? Did you try compressed air in a can along with the WD-40?

Run it through the dishwasher, and then squirt some Liquid Wrench or similar stuff all over it. That worked wonders for my Spirit when it got gritty.

Try to pull out the metal filings with a strong magnet first.
