:eek: Hey Guys, some fella from "outta town" sent me a coupla sheaths to use and abuse! Somethings wrong though! Theyre plastic!!! Niiiiice and thick! and look great!! Even the one for my Desert AS with penetrator tip fits like a glove!! And its thicker at the tip!! That plastic holds the knife in just right, I dont break my neck trying to remove the knife and its not trying to fall out. the back of the sheath is flat, and the edges are very nicely smoothed. The shape is different and very well thought out, it tends to want to sit nicely on the cord around my neck.

This Brix fella can really make some plastic covers!, they fit well, finish is very nice, Long term testing will be done this summer in the harsh conditions of South Texas. We'll see if I can melt this sucker without makin it permanently mold to my knife!! lol! It gets that hot here! :( :barf:

Stay tuned for the long term testing of this mysterious material, its just not natural!!!!! :eek:

He really does do some interesting designs. I will have to give him a go one of these days...
 
I own some of his stuff for my CT's! they're great! very great! They're build for last!!!! He made one for my BR too and it's just too cool!
but so far the best sheath I've seen from Brix is the one he made for this SOG Pentagon...guys...this is serious stuff...

Um......It aint so..... ;) I'm no convert my friend, just doing a little favor to a fella just gettin a start in the sheathing biz. I had a slow start and a couple of Hogs took pitty on me and took a chance on a "newbie" and then things started to happen :D theres some places that kydex rules the roost, and under a shirt in 100 degree temps with 80% humidity.....well, y'know.. :eek:

Although that plastic stuff is just wrong in some areas, well....most areas :p heh heh, theres just some places one doesnt wanna go with leather, heh heh :eek: :eek: :eek: for those times when I can get away with it I do prefer the horizontal rig I made for em that hides on my belt wonderfully, thanks to Gundy again for the design inspiration!!!!! :D

Dwaynes horisontal sheath rocks!! have one myself, just in the small situations where kydex can't be used!! really nice sheath but it's sad I don't carry it a lot because the kydex works everywhere :D :D :cool:
