Lucked out with a Spyderco Street Beat for Christmas. Beautiful, flawless fit and finish. Super sharp VG-10 blade. Kydex sheath fits perfectly. No rattle.

Haven't quite settled on a carry mode yet. Anyone have any ideas? Wearing jeans I usually have a gun (LCR) in the right front pocket, but the other pockets and the belt are candidates.

I always carry small fixed blades horizontally on my left hip so that I can just grab with my right hand close to my belt buckle. This will require a belt.

Agreed. It also makes it fairly easily accessible with your left hand if you're holding something with your right. Just be careful as it can easily end up being 'concealed' and I don't know how Texas law works for CCW guns vs knives and all that.

If you are carrying a gun keeo the knife set up for the other hand so your weapon hand is always open. Also I like to carry fixed blades just clipped vertically inbetween my belt and jeans when I edc one.

A belt isn't required with the Street Beat if you're using the G-clip. I carry mine there in athletic shorts with no problem.

It also fits well vertically on the left hip.
