Olive looks like a sweetie.
How's about getting a one-eyed, snaggle-tooth, flea-bitten, scrawny, streetwise cur with the build & bulk of an H1 Hummer, the social skills of a honey badger, the damage potential of an A-10 Warthog, and the patience & tolerance level of the meanest job site foreman God ever made. That should give those copper thieves a bit of pause, should they decide to make a run at Heist 2.0 from your shop.

There are a fair number of breeds noted for being r-e-e-e-eal territorial that would make viable candidates.

I was hoping olive would be more of an olive branch style negotiation. As the copper gets stolen she could give them puppy eyes and they'd feel bad enough to put it back
