Got that old feeling again!

Unfortunately, it's been a while since I have been able to order anything. I did pick up an Anniversary EDC for Hanna a Gathering or two ago but the last time I placed an order was for Trapline 2, which was last spring??!?!?? :eek:

I just sent John an email with details on my next JK and, I have to say, it's been a while since I've felt this excited! I am already picturing it in my mind and counting the days. I kind of forgot how fun it is to order from John, especially when it's your own design. I don't intend to go this long again!

and, is it really so easy to name your knives? it took me like two weeks to come up with a name for the VT Hunter...and let's be honest...that's not that clever. now, "The Treeline Bowie" ... well...that's a great name. :thumbup:

Well..........

While I did come up with the Trapline and Treeline names it was only because my original name for the Trapline was smartly vetoed by Mr K and I was sent back to the drawing board. The Treeline was actually kind of easy, just followed the "Line" idea. Unfortunately, I don't think "Chorusline" would make a good name for a knife. :)
 
How about the zipline or the beeline. BikiniLine kind of appeals to me!

No matter what you call it, it is a nice looking knife.

What do you think about putting a swedge the clip and sharpening it?

I am just a sucker for swedges and I think a clip point bowie is just right for that treatment.

Another great design - The Trapline is a great one also -

Uncle Bill, Bikini-line? That will be what we will have to call your first design someday.....

And I can only imagine what the bikiniline would look like........I just hope that Uncle Bill doesn't want to model it for us! :)
