Got the Day - now wondering.

Got the Mountainsmith Day lumbar pack in the mail today. Def. like the larger bottle pockets; more space for gear inside. After I placed bottles in the pockets and three water bottles to weigh it down a bit... wearing it without the straps is uncomfortable and I wouldn't recommend it. Now I'm wondering whether I should just stick with my Tour for those half-day/day long trips out and return the Day - get a medium sized backpack instead.

Throw some ideas at me. There's a few of you here who use the Day primarily.
