I just got the knife from Matt yesterday, so haven't had time to do anything with it...but I took it to work with me yesterday and took a few shots because I just wanted to show it off a little :)

The knives I've owned over the years probably numbers in the hundreds at this point...and this is the first with a hamon :)
 
It really is, the lighting was crappy so these pics really don't do it justice

Lol, something like that I suppose. I lost the first "collection" in a house fire 30 years ago...been through several since then.

I am not sure. I know he works with a lot of 1095, but I am not sure what steel he went with for this one. I was assuming 1095 though.

Nice score Brian & excellent work Matt,looking at that beauty one would think you've been making knives for many years.
I guess hanging with Chris has rubbed off a bit.;)

Thanks Mykel. Yep, looking at Matt's work, you would definitely think he's been at it a while.
