My first Esee arrived today. Love it. I set it up for horzontal carry, and its very comfortable. Gonna keep experimenting. I purchased the Tek Lok also, but the screws are too short, and none to be found in my area.

the teklok screws fit if you don't use the rubber washers. I pocket carry my izula, i got a kydex sheath for it to help cut down on the large profile of the izula's sheath.

I got the same set up...with the mini tek loc...you sure the screws won't work? that's a shame...it's a magnificent way to carry the Izula!

I didnt use the rubber washers. The screws only have 1/4 inch thread length to head. Just wont work. I contacted Bladetech to see if they had some a bit longer.

man that's WEIRD!!
sorry on your screw problems, and I hope you get a good answer.

the mini-tekloc worked great for me on the Izula.
best of luck, man.

Thanks. Yeah, I was a bit bummed. Looks like a nice piece, but happy about getting the Izula. Will get it worked out in time.

Teklocs, mini or otherwise, suck on small knives. The Damn thing is bulkier than the knife and the sheath. I really like a couple of properly placed holes and a bit of paracord to string it on my belt.

I had it on my belt horizontally for a bit, but I definitely prefer pocket carry most of the time. If the stock sheath is too big, it's fairly easy to shave down.

That's the way I've got mine now and its working very well.

have ya tried yr local hardware store? in the "hardware" section where they have the pull-out boxes full of all sorts of nuts n bolts and fittings. the local one here carries an amazing selection, including many configurations and sizes of "chicago screws". ya may be surprised what ya find.

Yes I have, even the specialty bolt and screw stores. All have had a substantially larger head and nothing in black, but I can fix the color. May just go with the larger ones. It would just be nice to have some a bit longer just like the ones delivered. Like the sig.

I pocket carry mine in the standard sheath. Lookin for a kydex one currently but will likely stick with pocket carry for now.

I've been strapping it to my 511 tactical trainer belt at the 10-11 oclock position, handle facing strongside with some paracord and a tensioner. Works pretty good and not bulky. Nothing to take off or on for pocket or neck carry other than the paracord.

i got my izula today too with the large tek lok. my screws are only 1/4 inch and they fit no problems.

WTF? Even the retailer replied to me about numerous complaints about it not working. Guess your a lucky one.
