I got the Sebenza today from an awesome company in College Park, Maryland www.knifecenter.com. Spoke to the people there, they were more than helpful and even gave me a 743 page catalog of knives and some other goodies. They actually had the large Sebenza in stock with the solar wind graphic design. They were also nice enough to give me one that was born on October 29, 2002 that had the S30V steel blade. I just want to thank you all, it is as good if not better than what you guys told me. I am getting addicted, I told them to find me a large Sebenza with the stars and stripes dsign, that one is beautiful. I also have my good buddy G2 making a sheath for me which I can't wait to get. I will post picture later tonight if you don't mind, I just love this knife.

You've just entered the Sebenza-Zone...(music please)..

Congrats man. Pretty soon you will have it bad. My large regular unique graphic, pearl inlayed, two bladed(SS Damascus/Flat ground BG-42)Sebenza should be here this week. Almost 2 years in the making, both blades will have duel silver studs and a swedge. Talk about an addiction.

Nice choice on your part for your first Sebbie. Start cuttin'.

That wait must be killin' ya! ;)

Nice one Bulldawg, very nice, glad they helped you out with that and that you got one of the newer ones as well!

My Mnandi's getting lonely sitting in that sheath by itself Gary. It's my own fault, I got greedy. Asked if that second blade could be a flat ground BG-42 instead of the regular S30V. Chris finally agreed to do it, but it ended up pushing back that completion date a few weeks. Dang, and me going deer hunting this week!

Oh well, waiting is half the fun...well maybe a quarter the fun:rolleyes:

Two blades? I have got to see that! K-guy, please post some pictures when your knife arrives.

Nice score Bulldawg!

You can get another blade made for your Sebenza. Each blade needs to be hand fit to the lock. CRK will send the old blade back to you with the new blade installed in the knife. You can switch blades by taking the knife apart. Both blades will not be on the knife at one time. For example, I have a small wood inlay that I sent to CRK to have a damascus blade put on. For everyday use I can use the BG-42 blade that the knife came with. To dress it up I can take it apart and put in the damascus blade.:D  :p ;)

Well, that's kind of a disappointment. I was getting all fired up about the idea of a dual - bladed Sebenza, along the lines of a Spydeco Dyad. Thanks for the info, though.
