Hi folks,

I thought I'd share a couple of pics of my recently acquired knives in reference to this thread.... http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=422014

These knives are the first SH blades I now own, its easy to see why they are so sought after, they truly are a work of art. The SHSH is approximately 5/16th of an inch thick and the SHBA is 1/4 inch thick. I took the leather cords off of the knives, and I did get the kydex sheaths with them as well (although not shown in the pics below).

Here is a partial transcript of the email from the seller (super nice guy and obviously a man of his word) in regards to how he purchased them:

(begin quote)I bought those i think in 92 Jerry was making these things one at a time i had to wait 6 months for the steel heart. Ron hood turned me on to him from hoods woods survival school. He was using the steel heart and his wife was using the badger attack for small camp chores. He was promoting them for jerry but jerry could not meet the demand so Ron starting selling other knives by I think his name was ron simcoe or something like that, It seems his company was tops knife co. back then.(end quote)

The knives are in great shape although the original owner did use them on a camping trip when he first aquired them. One thing that really surprised me is the size of the SHBA, I've seen many pics that some of the hogs have posted and previously thought they were about the same size as the GW's or maybe a little bigger, the SHBA is a monster compared to the GW.

Here's the pictures of the knives.......

Game Warden added to show the size differences:

Now I gotta ask the wife to make a couple of safe queen sleeping bags for them.

Hope you enjoyed the pics!!

Awesome set! I believe you may have got the deal of your life with those.

Those are very nice. The GW almost makes it look like a matching set.

What a great range of knives that would do everything you needed to do.

Did the black bag the GW is sitting on come with the GW?

Thanks.

To reduce the amount emails that the seller and myself was getting in regards to the knives.

I may have used up my luck for a little while after this deal. Still hard to believe I paid more for the GW in the first pic than I did for the SHSH and the SHBA with sheaths!

You got a point there. You'll probly be s#$% out of luck for sometime now. It's still worth it though...LOL I'm assuming you already asked if he had more INFI for sale ;)
