i wanted to try a farmer or a rucksack, but the store didnt have it, so i ended up with a normal two hand open trailmaster
just used it in the kitchen ,cut some garlic... so light use for now
im curios how will stand up in the bush ....so im adding it to my backpack

id had a reversed liner lock , to my surprise...not that it matters much in this type of knife

and the saw

wonder how im going to sharpen it when dull ....

the knife aint much, but i think its a nice addition in the woods, so far that is
maybe il get a rucksack and a farmer too, but for now, i want to see if this is good enough

since i wanted a rucksack, or a farmer that is...but there wasnt...
well, the only differences i see on this trailmaster would be the philips driver instead a corkscrew, and a different locking mechanism, so, for the woods, is in any other regard the rucksack better, or is this one quite the same thing ?

Hey, OT, is that Aspire? How's the DVD Multi drive endurance? Ours at home almost dead (can only read VCD so far .. no longer DVD)

it works ok, but i dont use it much anyway, only for ocasional copying, because i keep all my dvd's and movies, whatever, on external harddrives

Yeah, that's what I plan to do. Make all movies into an external harddrives will go a long way ;)

Now back to knives. I have the bundeswehr model, and after removing the serration, it's wicked sharp and following other thread encouragement (not the method, I have no real strop, but use any material available: jeans, cardboard, copy paper, and glossy leaflets), manage to make it cut hanging hair :D

it has been my expierence that the saw in the vic's never seem to go dull! they just keep cutting like a mini-chain saw!,,,VWB
