Got to compare a few Striders today - few questions

I run a small sharpening business in my town for the people who were affected by the closing of my old Brick and Mortar knife store, and today I got the chance to sharpen three different Striders. A SnG, SmF Badlands, and SmF custom with a Nightmare grind. They all sharpened up beautifully from a quite dull state just using ceramic rods. The nightmare grind is interesting. I've seen it in pictures but never in person. The hawk part of the blade is sharp, and has a hallow grind, while the tanto tip is a VERY VERY wide angle. To the point where it's not worth sharpening. The guy who owns the knife said it was for poking things.

I've been wanting to compare the SnG and SmF for awhile, and this has solidified my want of the SmF.

Also, when did Striders begin using the Hinderer stabilizer? The SnG doesn't have a stabilizer at all. It also has the Bos stamp. the G10 scale is pretty smooth, too.

The SmF's are both DDG, and feel great in hand. I'll see if I can get permission tomorrow from him to post pictures of these knives.

Thanks!
