Heading from Bismarck, ND down to Phoenix for college and convinced my dad to make a pit stop in Golden. Got stuck in traffic so we missed the closing time, but still got to see where they're made! A little disappointed that I didn't get to buy some new toys but I'm still a happy Spyderco lover today! :)

That's a long trip! Too bad you didn't make it inside. At least you got the pic in front of the place :)

I visited there from Vancouver a few weeks ago. It was like Disneyland for me. I scored a DLC PM2.

Nice! I'm gonna try to see if I can make it work to stop in on my way back. Maybe pick up a milli or something!

Nice! Phx is getting hot! Congrats on the college future! Oh yea in Az you can carry anything you would like as an edc ( not into class) ;)

Haha, I know! I really didn't think there was a place that could be more open for knives than North Dakta, but I found one. Looked at some schools in Boston, not quite as accepting of knife culture out east though...

That sucks you didnt get a chance to go inside. I would have been pretty bummed if i was in your shoes. Hopefully on the return trip!

He will be 10 mins away from some of the best custom knife makers. (Not to say that visiting the outlet wouldn't be the time of a life).

I stopped back in at Spyderco today! Picked up a Dragonfly Super Blue and got an amazing tour from Peter (the head of R&D). Everyone there couldn't have been more welcoming and knowledgeable. I had an amazing time and I would advise anybody who is going to be around the area to stop in! You won't be disappointed

Its amazing how I take Spyderco for advantage..All these years.
They've been so conveniently close. And have been a Golden stapel sence the early 90's.Harley rides to Coors & Spyderco,
And W/ all the that have working their.
I stop by their at least twice a month.
'Just between us,The back dumpsters are....never mind.

Haha! Didn't even think about that! I'll probably be heading though Denver on a pretty regular basis now, so I'll be stopping in as often as I can
