This past Saturday, the local Case knife dealer held an event as part of the Case homecoming series. Mr. Bose is doing a tour with Case and I got to meet him and was able to chat with him for a few minutes. Mr. Bose is a real class act and I enjoyed the chance to talk with him. He let me handle the two knives he was carrying that day. Both were slip joints of his make and were perfection as far as I could tell. Two event knives were available and I bought the single blade sowbelly. It is thinner than the sowbelly stockman due to only having one spring and I really like that. While the knife is nice, meeting Mr. Bose was the highlight for me.

Nice! I'd also like to see a photo of that 1-blade sowbelly.... you didn't happen to buy an extra??? did you??? ;)

I was able to meet Tony at Red Hill Cutlery about 2 years ago. I bought the Event knife, a Swayback and had him sign the case and box that it came in, Very nice Gentleman.

Tony is a good man who happens to make unbelievable knives! He's top notch all around! They don't make'em like
that anymore!! He's one of a kind.

That was cool to meet Tony. First thing I thought when I got my 3 blade sowbelly, upon inspection of the main blade, was this would make a great single blade knife.
