I got to play with some Striders a few weeks ago. An SmF Badlands, Custom Nightmare grind, and an old school SnG.

All three

The nightmare grind is interesting. I wouldn't carry one, but this guy did and does. The tip is only for poking holes in things. It's WAAAAAY to thick to get ANY sort of edge on it. Luckily the hallow grind is sharp.

The badlands is a nice knife. Fits the hand great, has a nice StarlinGear bead on it.

It also was convexed, and he had me sharpen it up for him. He uses it a lot to cut boxes and he loves the size and durability of the blade.

The SnG was numbered?? I've never seen this. Anyone have any info on it? What gen it might be and such?

Also, no lock stabilizer

Thanks! These are fun knives.

on that last one, the old school SNG, it's one of the earlier generations-- probably a second generation if it's numbered... i think that's right.

the very first ones were numbered and had "nipple" thumbstuds, as well as dimples cut into the G10 scales. they also had a smaller pivot.

the one you have pictured is numbered (they don't do that anymore except for maybe some special runs or something) but has the newer style "bull pivot", BOS stamp, and the older strider stamps.

i can't tell you exactly. they're on GEN 6 now.

nice knives though.
