First time on this site, so please forgive me if this should be in another area - seemed the most appropriate place to me.
I recently got two knives which appear to be Randalls. I've never owned one or handled one, so I don't know if these are real or fakes, or even how to tell. I took a look through Randall's website and they don't appear to be any currently made model, but from what I've been able to find online they seem to be some kind of variation on a #14, but certain things don't match up. The guard, for instance, in the pics of 14's I've seen online all point forward or are straight, not pointing backward.
The blade is similar in both, but the handles are slightly different, with one having shallow finger grooves - but shallower than pics of other Randalls I've seen. Also the Randalls stamp on the blade of one seems to be a little shallower and more faint than the other.
Both came with sheathes - one brown, one black - stamped with Randalls and Sullivans on the back. Stone was missing in one.
A pic of each knife is below, and there are more at the link. Can anyone tell if these are real or fakes? And if real Randalls, what model and approximate value? If you need more pics of some detail, I can take more.
