Today I recieved a Native and a dragonfly. The native is great. It's the most secure-feeling, hand-filling knife I've ever seen in the 3 ince range. I love the blade shape and it's easy to grip. Also it has the best blade steel of any knife in this price range. The dragonfly really impressed me. I bought it to go on my keychain. I didn't expect it to be big enough to hold securly or strong enough for real utitlity. I was wrong. Despite its small size, it fits in my hand perfectly. Even better than some bigger knives. I have a rookie, which I like, but find harder to open one handed than larger models. I assumed the same would be true of any small knife, but not this one! I opens quickly and easily, and it's easy to index by feel. I haven't really cut anything major yet, but I trust this little knife as much as a delica.
Both these knives are in my opinion, examples of great engineering. They both seem to have been custom built for me. Keep up the good work guys!

callahwj,

I will soon have a Native too. There are a great design, and considering the CPM440V steel, an incredible bargain!

I am also interested in the Dragonfly and like you, thought that this little knife might be too small to easily open. I'm glad to hear of your positive experience with them, as I too have a Rookie and I know what you mean about them being a little tougher to open one handed. I generally open mine using the "drop-open" method now.

Cheers, and congratulations on your new knives. - Jeff/1911.
