got my box back from K&G today and cleaned up the blocks a bit

going ot have ot let the ceder air out a bit
redwood lace and ceder burl are the main but there is a bit of maple burl walnut and amboyna in there too

That is UNDOUBTEDLY some of the most beautiful pieces of wood I've ever seen! Wow! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Nice. Your knives are already awesome knives, with that wood, they will be even better.
 
thanks and to the finishing well thats not a problem tho i think i will have to wait a while on the ceader burl as the resin in the wood and the stablizing resin fight and takes some time to "dry/stop weeping "

i am goingot make a few heat and cool cycles to help it along a bit

the redwood tho is super nice

Looks like K&G did a good job with your redwood. It is a tough one to stabilize without the wood turning real dark.

The redwood looks great on your razor.
