Just got some new handle material in. Thought I would share.

WOOD.jpg

Top piece is Tiger striped maple. Then left to right: Curly maple, Bubinga, Spalted Maple, Curly Zebra, Curly Zebra, Spalted Maple, Curly Zebra, and Curly Oak.

Enjoy,
Garth

The Bubinga is nice wood; I have it on that custom TankBuster I bought at the Tulsa show.;)

OOOO, good Idea, and can you match me a Tankbuster to go with it? Swedge, choil, skull crusher, satin. Thanks again :D

I have a thin .140 GW I'd love to have rehandled in Curly Maple or Curly Oak - how do you go about having that done and at what approximate price?
Best Wishes,
"Bloody Bill"

I like these... expect a call tomorrow, Garth :) [edit: actually I'll just e-mail you since you need time to see what blanks are available!]
That blue curly zebra looks just like the one from the Knoboganza BOSS Jack:

Probably best if you were to call or email Garth directly.

I've got about 10 cords cut, split, & stacked; about another 15 cords worth, bucked & awaiting the splitter; and some inside info that due to the EAB suppression, it is going rain Ash all summer long!:eek::eek:

Outside it is 0, the house is 84 degrees in the belly of the beast and 65 degrees in the farthest room:thumbup:

Oh yeah, we got wood!

:D

It's a sad day for the site . Garth's got "wood" and all the MEN are saying how nice it is !

HOLD MY BEER AND WATCH THIS !

You also noticed then how the ladies haven't commented on Garths wood;)

:D:D

Wow those are stunning. I've been looking at waxing moon humidors for awhile at different exotic woods that he works with and it can be really difficult to choose just one. Have you ever worked with lacewood or amboyna burl? They are supposed to be tough to work with but turn out just gorgeous

Have you ever used petrified wood ?
