If you get your knife wet, and you're worried about it rusting, and you don't want to take it all apart, just put it under the hair dryer a bit. Get the blade hot and you can bet all moisture will have been drawn off the metal.

This wont work for saltwater...
But its simple enough to wash with freshwater then dry.

Really?

Is the knife made of sugar?

Shake it off.

Put a drop of oil on the pivot if you are concerned.

Even my carbon steel traditional folders get wet, and seem to do just fine.

I thought it was fine advice. I've had a knife get rusty before. But, yeah, do whatever you want with your knives.
