Montejano .

Friends, this knife was of the first ones that I carried out. Looking at pictures appeared and I have decided to show it in the forum. it is very elaborated in their group. The engraving to the strong water was something difficult for the form of the hilt. He/she goes accompanied by a Renaissance sheath, with inlays in mother-of-pearl.

A greeting.
Montejano.

This is perhaps my favorite so far....and that's saying vollumes.

I'm speachless....except for the "woooowww" that I whispered ;)

WOW!!

These knives are so easily fit for a king.

Montejano, have you contacted any museums? These knives you create should be on display for all to enjoy. A museum or even major art galleries should be overjoyed to have such works of art on display.

Wonderful work!

Montejano .

Thank you friends for their words.
Friend Misque, in my city - Albacete (Spain) a cutlery museum has been inaugurated one month ago. inside the museum I have 5 pieces (property of the museum) 2 knives and 3 shears of clerkship (replicas of the old ones).

But my illusion would be that my works were seen outside of Spain; cuchilería museums are very few in the world. That I have alone knowledge there are 4 museums. In France, Alemanía, Japan and ours in Spain. Agreements are settling down among the museums, to be exchanged pieces in temporary exhibitions; but that believes that it is insufficient.
I sent time recently to the Museum of London, a picture of my best work (Gothic knife previous to this) with the intention of knowing that answer gave me and they not even responded me.
It is very difficult of to contact at certain levels and to show your works. It is lamentable that it is not known at level but extensive. Also in the supposition that alguién was interested, the trips are very expensive in general, to assure your works, etc....
But for me it would be a great pride and personal satisfaction.

A greeting to all.

Montejano.

The details are absolutely superb. . . .as usual. :)

I hope that you don't mind me asking, but a knife with such intricate details and embellishments. . . .how long does it take you to make a knife like that ?

Montejano

Friend Gigone, doesn't bother me that they ask me. I don't look for that they exalt my work and I conform to with which they respect it. I hope they ask that feel restlessness to know.

This knife and their sheath, are a goldwork work and I can have taken approximately around some 700 hours. The works of goldwork knives that I have shown in this forum and I still have left some to show; it is the work of several years of effort (around 8 years). Days that he/she dedicated him an average of 8 daily hours.

Thank you friend GigOne, for their interest and he/she can ask as much as he/she wants in any work.

Montejano

Ya le dijo muchos tiempos... ¡bonitisimo!

Does the M on the sheath stand for Montejano?

Amigo S2nd , la M hace referencia a mi apellido ( Montejano )

Friend S2nd, the M makes reference to my last name (Montejano )

Amazing!

I was going to say "Simply Amazing!" but there's nothing simple about that piece of work.

Bravo!

Montenajo,
I just don't know what to say... you show superb craftmanship. The lines of the knife, the details. What patience. You don't just make a knife, you CREATE a piece of art. Unbelievable.
Keep sending the pictures, it is a pleasure seeing them!! You amaze me!

This one is enough for me to skip a breath or a hearbeat or two but, each of your knives are treasures. Thank you for giving us the chace to see them.

Sir querido.

My God, that's not a knife... it's a freaking cathedral. :) Amazing work!
