That's an incredibly interesting design, how does the handle mount on it just a split haft on the center with some cord to tie it?

Tanks all
The spec are
edge 120 mm
lengh on the whole axe 190 mm
neck 100 mm
20 mm after the hole on the axe
weigth now when it´s not ready 1,0 kg

I'm with wildmike, what do you mean "bad copy" :)

What do you plan to do with it next? I mean shaping, grinding, etc.

This axe are a master axe only to see about balance and size
if it be as a hope it will be i make tools and start to forge them
I have to round the neck and grind the edge and have this surface
Oliveraxe-1.jpg

But i think that the axe i will make will have ruff surface

Don'n know what handle it will have
have to see what length and shape that's work for it or look up what kind of handle it have from the begining
If anyone have a tips i be happy

Looks to be a very worthwhile project. I too am interested in seeing the final results.

from the looks of it I would guess it was a viking war axe of some kind so probbably had a longer handle maby a metre long but I hink it would make a totaly cool tomahawk/camp axe

looks similar to this one

I would like to see it in the end as well as during - looks like a sweet piece of steel. - nice work

Cegga,
Would still like to get a axe made by you! How can I see your past work or styles?

Cegga do you make hawks?

I gifted my Hatchet to my uncle as a get will present!

Also do you do forging demos? I might be going to sweden in a few months.
