I've been wanting one for quite a while, so i headed down to Davi's and scored this one. It's a first production run, too! What a fantastic knife :)

and it's friend is my buddies Shallot Black, also a first production model, posing side by side. His has a bit of use on it already, but no harm done.

Yeah there are SOOO many things I like about the shallot

I would love to see a version with a CPM-S30V blade and some textured G10 scales molded on the edges to remain pocket smooth... but in all the cutting i've done so far with 13c26, it's been pretty bad*ss. The action on these knives are wicked, they feel great in the hand, thumbs up to the thick frame lock... two thumbs up overall!

Keep your eyes open for the composite version, a blade with two different steels. I believe Thomas said they sent the run out just a few days ago.

Looks great to me. :thumbup:
