Yes,from what I have read here, you guys really give it high marks. For the money, I just dont see how one could go wrong. Thanks for the welcome. I have many vices and usually when I get into something,I go big and hope to be around a lot...lol:)

welcome! talk about getting it right the first time...due to the thickness and shape of the handle, the bk-2 is probably the most comfortable knife i have. you're going to love it! sometimes i think about putting spacers underneath the bk-9's handle to make it as thick as the bk-2 to make it just as ergonomic.

Welcome aboard!! Well, now that you've given in to the "itch", get ready for full blown addiction. We need pics as soon as you receive it!!

Just picked one up yesterday, methinks I've got a new #1 belt carry blade for the bush. Which sucks a little bit, cause for the price of my other favourite blade, I coulda bought about 3 bk2's and a remora. Or a 2, 7, and a 9. Or a 2, a 9, an eskabar and a necker. Or a 5, an eskabar, and a ....... bah!

Becker knives are an unbeatable value, no doubt about it.

I have one on the way as well, along with a BK14. Snows up north seems to have slowed brown down a bit.

One HECK of a great knife. Of course you realize, we demand pics (hopefully action shots).

Howdy buddy. I find the 2 so aesthetically pleasing to look at\handle that I just love to use it. I just can't see anyone that is naturally drawn to the outdoors without one. I know that some guys with higher skill levels than myself say that they prefer some dinky little lady finger knife for ''bush craft'', and that's fine, go for it. As for myself I want a TOUGH knife made of quality materials and made by a quality manufacturer that cares. I have been caught in the cold and or rain, or stayed out a little later than I planned on. Then I want a knife that can perform and I have complete trust in. What I did to my bk-2 last fall convinced me that this is a ''when the chips are down'' knife. Can it do everything ? No, no knife can. But what I would need it for in the bush, it does in spades, and that is were the rubber hits the road.
