My wife just gave me a Valentine Card, inside of which I found a printout from the AG Russell website, indicating she ordered me a Randall Model 8 with their Burl Maple handle.

Suffice to say words elude me at this moment...

You would love this gal, guys. She came equipped with her own rifles, shotguns, horses, ATV, 4WD truck, camping gear, archery gear (she won the ND State 3D Outdoor Tournament in 01'), and of course, knives. She's one of the best wing and rifle shots I've every seen. She favors Kershaw, Spyderco, and Gerber, and fully understands the ramifications of the word "Randall"....

Well, my girlfriend, as far as I know, isn't doing anything wild for me today, but my mother (also a woman), brought one of my scholarships to my apartment on her way to visit some family this morning while I was in a test, so I came back to large stacks of cash.

That's pretty cool.

I sense a titanium frame lock in my near future.

Of course, my girlfriend did lock her keys in her truck late last night (AND her spare keys, lord knows how) and I came by and paid a locksmith to get it open. I might be due a...blue bump or something for that.

Well, back in reality, I've pretty much come to terms that the day will come and go without a new knife, unlike some lucky bastids.

Wow! Congrats on an awesome new knife and an awesome lil' lady!

I guess I sorta got my gift last night. I told the wife I wanted to order a couple of blades to put handles on. (they were Brusletto blades originally intended to go to Morseth) She said two wasn't enough. So I wound up ordering four. That still wasn't enough, because she wants to make a couple knives herself, so I had to go back and order a fifth blade for her!

I'm jealous man. At least you already got a blade with a cool handle on it. I gotta do my own!;)

Ndterminator, would you please adopt me? I'd get some awesome Christmass presents in that house!

If adoption is a bit too much, would ask your wife to write a letter to my girlfriend explaining what a real gift should be?

Can you please post a picture of the ATV and the truck?

Last year she surprised me with a Hattori HA6-2 Medium Fighting Bowie, which is currently over at Sunrise River Custom Knives where Jay is making me a left hand sheath and replacing the leather handle with one of black canvas micarta. This is my favorite knife, at least until the Randall shows up!...

Or does your wife have a sister with the same tendencies? Your a lucky guy....you know what you gotta do. Buy her something SUPER NICE

DAH! Stop stealing all the good women! :D You just described the girl I will be forever searching for!

All that, and yes she can cook too. Not kinda cook, but no kidding gormet cook. You should see what she can whip up in the time it took me to boil the hot dogs and heat up the pork & beans back in my bachelor days...

Sorry guys, no daughter and Toni's sister isn't cut out of the same stuff...

BTW, here's a picture of her with her award for the State Outdoor 3D Tournament championship...

I hope that I'm not crossing the line when I speculate that those bruises on the knees indicates a very happy husband...
