Found this listing particularly amusing:

1. Pics taken from ACK site, of a CS Stag Trailmaster.
2. Designed and made by Maker. You don't say!
3. 4mm thickness that magically jumps up to 8mm!
4. Differential heat treat with a stunning 54HRC at the edge!
5. Invisible scale pins illustrate the phenomenal skill of Maker!

These clowns are even worse than GSM at pretending to be Lynn Thompson .

Note that it not only comes with a sheath, but also with a custom made calf skin! Hard to beat at that price! Definitely going with the volume discount on this one.

PS: Shame on ACK. Sad to see them go this route.

I think ACK was only involved to the extent of having their picture stolen, but maybe jlauffer jlauffer can clarify.

And I bet you are completely wrong.
I know at least three people who have bought knives from gun shows or medieval... uh what are those things called when people gather and pretend to have a medieval town? One of those things... both quite good elk hunters and use the knives for fishing and hunting. I've been impressed that the handles haven't come off some of them but the edge is worse than a butter knife. They don't waste any meat cutting though, I guess somehow the geometry is there.

While I was in Moz I saw plenty of cheap and some homemade knives being used to dress big game. It’s not ideal but it can be done and with some proficiency.

This kind of mis-representation is another matter entirely.
