Gotta Love the Orange

As it suggests from the title of the post, I love Orange scales on knives these days.

I was very unsuccessful in getting my hands on a Sprint run Orange Para2...So...

I decided to make one myself. Lol

Here is my Para2 (used to have Digicam scales)

Dressed in orange.

Nice! I do love the orange and i was just admiring those scales on BHQ a day or so ago.

I've always wanted a orange Millie and two recently sold on eBay for good prices but I'm not willing to take that risk. I may end up buying another DLC coated military and having orange G10 made for it

BTW do those make the para any wider?

I got the scales for Alan Putman here on BF, really great guy. I would guess that they make the handle approx 1/8" wider, IMO it feels better in hand.

Hi.
I saw your scales you got for the spydie. It looks awesome

Can you direct me to guys who do them please.

Thanks

Craig

Gotta love orange blades for sure! I did the exact same after a failed search for a CS exclusive orange para 2. The Allan Putman scales are great, and I agree the little added thickness does feel nice in the hand. Nice looking para 2!

I don't know the orange just isn't doing it for me. I picked up a Ritter mini grip in orange and wish it was tan or maybe black.

I rock these in the cold months, orange scales just take it to another level! :)

Orange is one of my favorite colors for a knife. In Spyderco alone I have a UKPK, Delica and sprint runs of the Para 2 and Military. Still need an orange Endura.
