I was SO pumped thinking my Strider SnG was arriving today, until I realized last night that today's Presidents Day lol.

I got pretty heated for a minute, but I'm off tomorrow so I can't wait to get it!!!
 
Just think what it will be like when USPS stops Saturday deliveries later this year. The angst will be heightened.

They're trying to get rid of saturday service also, hopefully they stay with at least parcel only saturdays when it goes in effect.

For now, they're saying parcels only on saturdays. So that's good for knife addicts. That may change.

Also the senate is "protesting" the end of saturday mail. Like that will do anything though.
 
I have all Mail go to my PO Box, which will still get deliveries on Saturday.

Either way I'm not a very patient person, especially when it involves knives lol.

Tomorrow afternoon can't come quick enough!!!

lol thats the first thing I thought when I heard no saturday mail, then when I heard they were still delivering packages I was happy.
 
Agreed, govn't holidays + stranded cruise ship + me having ordered my first sebenza last Wednesday = much anticipation for Tuesday.
 
Yeah same here.

810 Contego shipped Saturday so it's gone nowhere. The tracking number doesn't register anything so we'll see. At least it's in my state. :)
 
Same here as well. Missed my brown para 2 on friday cant pick it up till tues. And carnival sucks too. Waiting for my sr1-a I ordered a week and a half ago.
 
Tomorrow is going to be an exciting day around here. I'm waiting on a knife that will be here tomorrow too. :abnormal:
 
I went to the bank this morning to deposit "Nathan's new knife fund," only to realize the bank was closed. Now I have to wait till tomorrow. I think the things I had to say may have made a sailor blush, but at least I was alone when I realized it. I'm definitely getting expedited shipping now. I want my first sebenza for this weekend!
 
I have to mail out my Brad Southard flipper tomorrow. I guess I don't mind that it had one more day here at home. It's a good knife. Bill-time.

You think you have it bad? I ordered an edge pro type sharpener a strop and compound to get into my knife hobby more and the holiday came right after a storm here so postal services were down for 4 days!

Are you saying that you had to sell it to pay a bill? If so that sucks... :( sorry to hear that, but at least you have your priorities straight.
