Govt. Agent (old recon) in carbon steel?

Remember when SOG offered a Government Recon (I guess it's called Agent now in stainless)? Anyone have one they're willing to sell?

Is there enough interest in such an animal again to ask SOG to make them in carbon again? How about a limited run? It shouldn't be that difficult.

Am I the only one who likes this blade, but prefers carbon steel? Help me out fellas...

I love my SOG Government. Makes a pretty good kitchen knife. :D Along with being a good field knife of course. ;) Having one in a carbon steel would be cool.

Sorry to dredge this up. I have an old carbon steel Gov't. Excellent/Unused condition with only a couple of oxidized (not active rust) spots on the exposed steel. Email or post if you are interested. Not even sure what it is worth....

didn't the Recon Gov't have a coated or blued blade ?? it's been a while since I've seen a picture..... definitely a great looking knife, and I like the carbon steel.....

Yes it has a blued blade.

I'm not auctioning squat.

Racegunner is the only one that mentioned an interest.

I'll keep the knife. If I wanted to auction it I'd put it on eBay. I merely stated I did not know it's worth.
 
I wish SOG would bring back the Recon Government. A more blade heavy model might be nice. ;) :D

Wow, who went into the cellar to dig up this old ghost (post)?
I picked up a gov. recon in blued carbon steel a while ago.
too bad SOG stopped making them :(
