I have a set that I got while I was in the Marines in 75-79 and it consists of a pair of linemans pliers and a camillus knife, and a leather 2 pocket pouch with a covering flap. I remember calling it a TL knife. The leather pouch is stained and has a few cracks. the knife and the pliers have a little rust, sadly this happened in the last 6 months since I took it from my car to my basement. The knife has a single spear point blade and a locking screwdriver, the markings on the knife are CAMILLUS NEW YORK in 2 lines. The pliers are what I call side cutting lineman's pliers, the markings on the pliers are TF with a small round cartouche below it and Japan on one side and HOLUB 18-507 around the pivot on the other which is the cutting side.

What are they worth today.

Maybe you could consult the pages of this book
"Pocket Knives of the United States Military" by M. Silvey
-http://www.knifeworld.com/pocknivofuns.html
for proper identification of knife type?
Along with the 5th edition of the
"US Military Knives, Bayonets and Machete Price Guide"
That way, you'll always be one step ahead, armed these excellent guides.
Or you could wait till someone comes up with some real help.
Good Luck Marine!

Not worried about current value, just wondering about the worth so I can tell Kids.
Here is a photo and I also posted this on the other thread. Some great info there and thanks for your halp.
