GPS Antenna...need some help

Ok...I was looking to find a re-radiating antenna to hook up to my Garmin E-Trex Legend when it is hooked up in my truck. Yes, I know they aren't made for vehicular use, but I use it from time to time when trying to find shortcuts and such. Does anyone know how to assemble one of these or where to find one?

I've never heard of a re-radiating antenna, which is no surprise considering my Garmin unit has an external antenna jack. A quick Google search turned up this though, which was quite informative:
