GPS maps

I just got a Magellan Sport Map GPS.

Do I have to buy the 'Map send' software to get more detailed maps or can I download them somewhere on the net.

I bought a Sport Trac Pro 3-4 months ago and tried in vain to find downloadable maps, when I first got it. I ended up getting Map Send streets and it's a great product.

When I can afford it, I'm going to get the Map Send Topo Maps.

At least the stock map shows a lot of the major streets, but you surely need the Map Send maps.

I just bought the Topo version on e-bay for 66.00. Seems like a good deal. The streets seem to go a little more.

Wow!! Good deal. I'm going to have to look at eBay more often.
